How long have you been in business?
I have been an Independent Mary Kay Consultant since May of 2011.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary products are our skin care lines. However, we have a full range of glamour color cosmetics as well. We have four different skin care lines two of which have been out less than a year. I love to teach women the importance of skin care as well as share glamour tips and teach make-up application.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I began as a loyal customer actually. I love the Mary Kay philosophy of business...The Golden Rule philosophy of treating others and doing to other what you would want done to/for you. The company began with Mary Kay Ash's vision to "Enrich Women's Lives" by giving us an opportunity to work from home, be our own boss and balance our Faith and our Families with our business. This is what first peeked my interest in this business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Customer service, honesty and wonderful products which are AMERICAN MADE! My customers love supporting my "small business" vs. a big chain. Our products can definitely compete with other brands and our products are all made right here in the USA!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I work from my home office, but I can sell to anyone in the USA. I can ship my products anywhere and my customers do NOT pay for shipping!

Which areas do you service?
For personal service, primarily the greater Houston area. However, I can mail samples and products to anyone any where.
